- It's healthy
- Great option for your snacks and breakfasts
For the cake you need:
- Eggs
- Plant-based drink or milk
- Whole oat flour
- Coconut flour
- Grated carrot
- Vanilla Yummy drops or essence (optional)
- Dark chocolate chips
What's the best plant-based drink to use?
Any one will do, but I always use plant-based drinks with no added sugars. Usually I use almond, but oat, rice, walnut and others will work perfectly. You can also use milk or egg whites.
Can I substitute oat flour?
Yes, for example with whole wheat, rye or spelt flour.
How can I substitute vanilla yummy drops?
You can use vanilla essence or a sweetener to taste. If you add honey or agave syrup, or another sugar, it will change the nutritional table of the recipe, adding more sugar and calories.
Where to buy the ingredients?
Most of the ingredients you can find the link above. I bought the chocolate chips at the supermarket.
