Who here is a pizza lover? I am very much, and I admit that I've gotten the hang of making classic pizza with bread dough and everything! But today I bring a healthier, protein-rich, fast and very delicious option.

You will love the recipe because:

  • It's protein-rich
  • Super easy and with only 3 ingredients (the base)
  • Quick, no oven needed
  • Great lunch or dinner option

For this recipe you need:

  • Egg
  • Egg whites or vegetable drink/milk
  • Pizza or tomato flavored oat flour

Only those ingredients? How?

It's true, this pizza base is like a crepe! Super simple indeed, and then you can put whatever you want as a topping. Below I leave the nutritional information with some toppings that I will indicate here what they are.

Where to buy flavored oat flour?

This oat flour is from Prozis and you can order it here. It has several flavors but I personally recommend tomato or pizza for this specific recipe.

How can I substitute this flour?

My advice is to use any other flour and add spices like oregano, garlic powder and salt, that way it will be excellent too.

How did you do for the toppings?

I used low-fat shredded cheese, mushrooms, heart cabbage, olive (literally I only used one ahahah), bell pepper and cubed turkey ham. To do this, I put the sliced fresh mushrooms, bell pepper, and heart cabbage in a non-stick skillet and let them cook with a drizzle of olive oil and oregano. When the base was ready, still in the skillet with the heat at minimum, I put the shredded cheese, the previous preparation of mushrooms, bell pepper and cabbage, ham and olives and left it for a few minutes with the heat at minimum to melt and keep warm.
