For this recipe you need:

  • Corn flakes
  • Seasonings to taste: paprika, smoked paprika, and garlic powder
  • Chicken breast cut into cubes
  • Salt to taste

Which corn flakes can I use?

There are plenty available on the market, but I recommend choosing the simplest ones possible, without added sugars. Check the ingredient list and make sure they don’t contain sugar or other unnecessary ingredients. You can find several options, such as the 0% added sugar corn flakes from Mercadona, the Nacional brand, and even at Continente.

Can I use other seasonings?

Absolutely! I’ve tried it with oregano, and it was divine. Also, if you don’t have smoked paprika, there’s no need to add it-it’s not mandatory.

  1. First step

    Place the corn flakes and seasonings in a food processor and blend well until it resembles a coarse flour. Transfer the mixture to a deep plate.

  2. Second step

    Grind the chicken with the salt, divide into portions (I got 9) and dip each piece into the corn flakes mixture.

  3. Third step

    Place the coated chicken on a baking tray or in the air fryer and lightly spray with olive oil on top.

  4. Fourth step

    Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 180°C, or bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
