- Vermicelli pasta
- Milk
- Water
- Egg yolk
- Honey
- Vanilla essence
- Cinnamon stick
- Lemon zest
Can I use another sweetener instead of honey?
You can even use stevia, it's up to your preference. I used honey because I love the flavor it gives!
Do I have to use milk and egg?
You can make it with just water or plant-based milk, it's possible to make several adaptations.

First step
Place the water, milk, honey, cinnamon stick, lemon zest, and vanilla in a pot. Stir and turn on medium heat.

While waiting for it to boil, break the vermicelli. After it boils, lower the heat a bit and add the vermicelli to the pot.

Third step
Let it cook while stirring for at least 10 minutes.

Fourth step
After it is well cooked, turn off the heat and add the beaten egg yolk while stirring everything very well with a spoon. Mix everything and serve immediately on plates.
