- Has no added oil
- Is low in added sugars
- A healthy option for breakfasts or snacks
- It is totally vegan
For this granola you need:
- Orange
- Oat flakes
- Nuts
- Seeds (optional)
- Nut or seed butter
- Agave syrup
- Cinnamon
How can I substitute nut butter? Which to use?
I personally used almond butter, it's my favorite and I think it goes perfectly. But you can use peanut butter, cashew, sunflower seeds, among other options. If you don't have any of these options you can add nothing.
Can I substitute agave syrup?
Yes, but it will have to be a liquid sweetener. Honey (stops being vegan), maple syrup, coconut blossom syrup work perfectly.
Which nuts to use?
Anyone will do, I used sliced almonds.
