In this article I talk about some oat drinks without added sugars that I have tasted and that are available on the market, I leave my feedback regarding flavor, price and of course nutritional table.

Oat drink why?

Because it is one of the drinks I like best in terms of flavor, and if you are looking for a substitute for cow's milk I recommend this one in terms of flavor, soy only wins by protein content because in flavor without a doubt this is better in my opinion.

Here I will talk about oat drinks from Mercadona, Lidl, Continente, Alpro and other brands that you may know. Keep reading if you are looking for the best oat drink for you.

Shoyce and Prozis oat drink

These drinks are exactly the same in terms of ingredients and also nutritional table. They have added calcium which is great, but they have more naturally occurring sugar than some options we'll see here, plus they also fail in price, being €1.99 each.

You can see in the images that in fact they are exactly the same drinks, also not differing in price. In terms of flavor they are quite pleasant, sweet enough for my taste to drink my typical coffee with "milk".

Lidl Bio oat drink

This drink is quite good, more affordable at a monetary level than those mentioned above and in terms of nutritional table, it has the same amount of sugars as those mentioned above but less fat, consequently having fewer calories. However, it does not have added calcium, which loses in my opinion considering that in terms of price it is not among the cheapest because it is organic.

Bio Oat Drink - Continente

Another organic oat drink without being enriched in calcium, for €1.19 just like in Lidl. In terms of flavor it is very good indeed, it has a little less sugar compared to those mentioned above, having 5 grams of sugar per 100 milliliters (naturally present) and more fat, thus causing an increase in its calories.

Provamel Oat Drink

Provamel has very good drinks in my opinion, in addition to the wide variety of them. The one I'm talking about today is the simple Oat Drink without added sugars. A great option in my view because it is among those with less sugars, however it is not enriched in calcium and is among the most expensive on this list.

Oat Drink - Pingo Doce

A great option, in my opinion, for an oat drink. In addition to its reasonable price, it is enriched with calcium, so when you go to Pingo Doce you can already add this drink to your shopping list! It has a bit less sugars than the ones we have here in this article.

Yosoy Oat Drink

This drink is not so frequent to find, I at least only found it in Froiz, but I couldn't resist bringing it to this article because it is one of the only ones that has only water and oats as ingredients, which is great for anyone looking for a cleaner and simpler oat drink. Its price is also fantastic, being in Froiz only for €1.09! The only negative side is not being enriched in calcium.

Alpro Oat Drink 0% Sugars

I want to highlight that this is the specific drink without sugars even in its nutritional table. Oat drinks without added sugars have naturally occurring sugars in their composition, as you can see in all these cases. However, this Alpro drink goes through some procedure that removes all sugars, and you see on the nutritional table that it has ZERO sugars.

Despite its extremely high price, I admit I can't resist buying as soon as I see it on sale, because it's undoubtedly one of my favorite options. This drink is the least caloric of all, is enriched with calcium, has no sugar and has a pleasant taste, although MUCH less sweet than the previous ones.

Oat Drink - Auchan, Mercadona (Hacendado), Lidl (Milbona)

Finally I mention the drinks that for me are most worth it, for the price, ingredients and nutritional table. It is true that they are among the lowest in sugars, compared to some mentioned above, but they are all at €1, sometimes even less, and I think they are very worth it. In addition, they have no added sunflower oil, if that's something that interests you, and they are enriched with calcium.

I didn't have the Lidl drink with me, I emphasize that it's the version that isn't organic. I then leave a photograph of the oat drink from Mercadona and also from Auchan.

Nutritional comparison table

It is finally possible to observe that most of them contain sunflower oil, which in my opinion is not a problem since they are in very small quantities to give consistency, we also see that there are many options enriched with calcium which is great, but mainly that most do not vary immensely in terms of nutritional table. There are few grams of sugar that differ in most of these options, and for that reason I usually go for the most affordable drinks.
